What must I do to be saved?

  1. Everyone is a sinner.

Romans 3:10 - As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

  2. There is an eternal price for sin.

Romans 6:23a - For the wages of sin is death…

Revelation 20:14-15 - And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

  3. Jesus Christ and God are equal. Jesus is God with a “robe of flesh”.

John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 - And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 10:30 - I and my Father are one. (Jesus speaking)

  4. God, out of Love, sent Himself to earth to die and pay for our sins on the cross.

Romans 5:8 - But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

1 John 4:10 - Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

  5. Everyone/Anyone is invited to accept the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 6:23b - …but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

  6. Call on Jesus right now to be saved from your sins. Don’t wait another second.

Romans 10:13 - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

  7. Pray something like this:

“Dear Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I deserve hell. But, I believe that you died for me and rose from the dead three days later, and you’re still alive today. Please forgive me of all my sin and take me to heaven when I die. I trust only in you, Jesus Christ, to take me to heaven. Nobody else, nothing else. I pray this in Jesus name, Amen.”
